First attempt at Spock/Uhura = spectacular fail. Will try again soon.
The only good thing to come out that fail is that I wrote over a thousand words yesterday. I have written that much in a day in a long time. I'm crediting
WriteMonkey for that. WriteMonkey is a Windows program that opens a text document to full screen, blocking out your task bar and every other program. It's just you and the blank screen and it seems as if you have no choice but to write. Without Word's little squiggly red and green lines telling me I have grammar or spelling errors, I just chug along. There aren't any formatting tools so I don't get distracted by putting things in italics or bold. Download it if you have a procrastination issue like I do.
I have a faint nagging feeling that my computer is about to die or needs reformatting. I'm thinking about getting a Mac some time in the future, but I'm holding back because they are so expensive. If you have a Mac tell me the pros and cons of owning one.
