Silliness and a Movie Rec

I've just found another old man to fall in love with: Hugo Weaving aka Agent Smith, aka Elrond, aka V. It's funny how can you can fall in love with an actor's presence because he's wearing a mask through an entire movie.

For that and many other reasons I'm recommending V for Vendetta. It's a great movie. A lot of people are trying to look for the

What, Arthur isn't man enough for you?

The V for Vendetta trailer kinda rubbed me the wrong way. There's just something about it I don't like. But if you liked it, I may give it a try tomorrow when I go to see Ultraviolet.

It's funny because I was thinking about Arthur last night. I was about to write tat if Hugo Weaving had red hair... well, you know. In fact, Mr. Weaving prompted me to begin a new Angelina/Arthur fic, as if I didn't have enough to write.

V for Vendetta is going to be one of those movies that you'll either hate or love. I can't fault anyone for hating it since it can be a bit heavy handed in its politics. The only good thing is that the Wachowski brothers have somewhat redeemed themselves from the awfulness that was the Matrix sequels.

Wait, wait, wait...I just remembered some "ideal HP lover" quiz a while back. Wasn't Dumbledore your ideal?

We will never speak of that again. It gives me chills to even think it. I get images of Dumbledore asking me if I want a sherbet lemon and it all goes downhill.
