(no subject)
i'm not sure why i feel so compelled to update my journal as of late.
i really have very little to nothing to say.
i love break because i can do absolutely nothing.
but think about college. booo.
dayton: intrigues me.
ohio: super excited at first...pretty sweet still, but not exactly the best academics in the world
iowa: sweet. but it's iowa. 15 hours away. but it's so sweet.
i often get caught up in things and don't think. so i must let it ferment in my brain.
iowa good: very nice campus, sweet campus town, good size (about 20,000), big 10 (= intense athletics), somewhat reknowned, best diversity of the three (9% minority), about 50/50 boy/girl, delicious sushi, attractive boys visible during visit, variety of majors, scholarship not impossible to keep, not too expensive (cheapest of big 10), would have the best concerts of the three
iowa bad: 15 hours away. yea. in iowa.
analysis of bad: 15 hours is far...but...chicago is only 3 hours away. chicago = sister. so at least there is some connection.
and the rest...
they're all basically the same price. ohio is about 8 hours away, dayton 6. I dislike dayton's urban setting, however, it still continues to intrigue me. everyone who i've talked to that has gone to ohio loooved it. but everyone else is like "do you mean ohio state?" nope, just ohio. dayton has kind of a lame mascot. flyers. what even is that? alumni really like sending me letters about how great it is though. ohio = huge party school. but isn't every school a party school? i feel as though where ever i go i will manage to find some sort of party. i wonder what the food is like. hrm.
