I have really been getting into reading books again lately. I love love love to read, but it's one of those stupid things I often forget to do. Some of the books I've enjoyed lately are Running with Scissors, The Devil Wears Prada, Andels and Demons, The DaVinchi Code & The Lovely Bones. Other books I've read & truely enjoyed in the past off the top of my head are Angela's Ashes & T'is, all books by David Sedaris, Harry Potter, Memoirs of a Geisha. I mostly seem to prefer memoirs, biographys, and novels. I really, really try to work my ways through historic type books and factual & informative type books, but I typically just have too hard of a time with those. I am terrible at remembering facts and names while I am reading, and so those type books are typically lost on me as I get so many facts thrown at me in such a short span of time, which are typically helpful if I remember them later (which I don't, I am lucky if I remember them in the same sentence) that I just give up. The gist of this ramble is that I have a great experience reading books that are reccomended to me by people who know what I've been reading. As you can tell by the titles I have mentioned above I have really only been venturing into the more popular 'made into movie' type books, and I'd really like to get back into some lesser known but great reads. Do you all out there have some titles for me to look into, I'd really really appreciate it, with a big cherry on top!
