[Earthquake] Private Scene: Valant in "Karma's a Bitch"
(OOC: Takes place an hour after Valant escapes from the supermarket event.
*After Valant’s escape from the supermarket, he heads home to check on if his rabbits and doves are all right after the earthquake. His apartment remains relatively untouched by the quake, or rather the general state of the complex is so disgraceful that no one can tell. Valant climbs up the stairs and opens the door to his home. The furniture has been moved from the quake and a bookcase as fallen to the ground, but the cages for his rabbits and birds have withstood the forces of nature, most of the animals making noises or moving around when they notice that someone is here.*
Valant: Hello, my fine furry and feathered friends! I’m home!
*Valant moves to the bird cage to give them extra food, though he will have to go back later to get some more bird seed...Though he should probably not shop at Green Greens for awhile in case that he could be lynched. After that, he opens up the cages for the rabbits to hop out and wander around the apartment for free. But when he gets to Hoppykins’ cage and opens it, the elder bunny does not move.*
Valant: Come now, Hoppykins! Time to travel the territories!
*But the rabbit does not move. It just sits in the cage and then Valant pokes the rabbit with a finger.*
Valant: Come on! You need to engage in your everday exercises!
*Again, the rabbit does not move. Valant then leans his face closer and then sees that the rabbit is not even breathing and Valant’s face turns into one of confusion.
Valant: ….Hoppykins?
