Just a lil' update...
I shaved my legs for the first time in over three months today. Needless to say, it was a bit like trying to shave your way through a thicket. Quite the experience. All in all, I think I was in the shower for about 45 minutes... I won't say I don't look a little prunish at the moment, but hey, it was well worth it! I can now wear skirts without shame.
It's so beautiful out right now... everytime I inhale, I feel like I'm breathing in fresh fruit and clean air and swimming in ponds and summer and flowers all at once. So wonderful! I'm really happy it's been warm and sunny out lately, I was getting a little sick of the persistent cold weather.
I miss livejournal. I remember when I first got it, I'd updated it at LEAST three times a day with nothing at all to say... now I have my whole first year at college to recap and I can't think of where to start, which means I won't start at all. I need to be better at journals.
For some really weird reason I had a dream that my friend Steuart had a facebook account, and I JUST remembered it... that's odd. Haha. One of those weird dreams that seems so real when you're having it, but also one of those dreams that you forget the instant you wake up and don't remember until a few days later... dreams are funny things!
I'm really excited for Italy this summer, although I can't say that the chamber music aspect will be all that exciting. I wish I could just skip that part and stick to the Opera orchestra. It would give me more time to sight-see. Speaking of sight-seeing, I NEED to try to convince my parents to get me a digital camera before I go. I really want to have one for Italy, since disposables are so risky... half the time you end up with pictures of your thumb or the inside of your pocket.
OK, well, I'm off. I'm proud that I just wrote so much... however, I can't say that I said anything important or interesting, but oh well. This is a journal, I can say whatever I want, right? Right.
