They say the neon lights are bright on BROADWAY

OK.. I've been home for like 2 days now.. but this is the first chance i've gotten to actually sit down and tell you all about my trip.

New York was AWESOME! Well at least Manhattan and Times Square was. In the cab ride from the Airport to Times Square... I was just in awe the whole way. It was amazing. It was just like TV and the movies. The cabs, the crazy drivers, the beautiful parks, the people laying in the grass, walking through the parks, the buildings, all the little stores, the kids walking home from school, the way they dressed...
And then Times Square.. all the lights, the billboards, the crowded streets, everyone walking instead of driving, the crazy people, the "i don't give a fuck" attitude.
I didn't really have any expectations b4 we got there but it surpassed any expectations I would've had. It was Great.

About TRL.. we weren't on it.. but I don't think anyone watched it anyway. lol. But now people think that we were never really gonna be on it.. that we were just saying that.. expecting to get on. But I swear.. we were inside the building.. about to go in the studio.. but we decided to leave cuz we wanted to walk around and take in the city. And if we stayed in TRL, we wouldn't have had time cuz we would've had to go str8 to Wicked afterwards.
Oh man.. WICKED.. I still can't believe we actually saw it. AND we met the cast and got their pictures and autographs. Joey McIntyre (Fiyero), Jennifer Thompson (Glinda), and of course IDINA MENZEL (Elphaba). I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Of course the show was amazing. My favorite part was "Defying Gravtiy." I had chills during the whole song.. and when she flew at the end.. AAAHHH! AMAZING!!!

Oh.. and we can't forget when I left my wallet in a taxi.. Long Story. Not gonna get into it.

We went to some comedy club at like 1:00 in the morning, after I got my portrait done.. it was horrible. The most unfunny people I've ever seen. But it was actually pretty fun. LOL. We spent most of the time laughing at how bad they were.

Then we took the subway.. cuz u can't go to NY and not take the subway.. and we wound up in some dark scary city (Jackson Heights i think) at 4am. And from there we took the bus to the airport.

The whole experience was all just so surreal. Now Laura and I are planning to drive up in December. Everone's invited. And we're serious about this so we need to know who wants to go.

I hope I didn't take up too much of your time. (DP)
