Went to the Cheese Store again on the way to get groceries. Again, a wonderful cheese plate dinner:

Its all about the Manchengo cheese and quince jelly/spread. Trust me it is like pure bliss

Then on your suggestion, I shall give that a try. Do you have it on bread or crackers? And, er... what is quince? A kind of vegetable? :)

you might use crackers but the whole idea is the manchengo sort of acts as the cracker for the quince(it is a tree fruit) spread which is sort of sweet. I am sure your cheese shop will have quince spread in packages.
