A 73 year old lady who lived in an apartment across the street from me was arrested today in connection with at least two murders. She and an accomplice, also a lady in her 70s, would (allegedly) take out life insurance policies on homeless men, and then kill them in hit-and-run accidents. While I was walking back from my car, I heard the story from a homeless lady who lives on my street. I checked the LATimes when I got home, and low and behold, it was the top story. The lady I talked to actually knew the one lady who lived here in Hollywood. Creepy.
