I'm feelin' country today...

I love my job.  The people make it so fun that I don't feel like I'm working!  Today I worked with Juli, Jon, Steve, and the new girl Heather.  Heather thinks we're all retarded, I'm sure of it...  Jon was walking around with a camcorder the whole night videotaping all of us and he kept hitting on Steve.  Steve was trying to have a serious talk with me about college, but Jon kept shoving his camera in our faces and throwing Fancy Feast cans down the aisle at me.  (Last week he convinced an old lady that the bag of catnip I was carrying around was actually marijuana.  Then he sold the catnip to some kid for $20.)  Then I broke a shelving unit and Juli had to help me shove it back together before it completely collapsed.

Something is amiss with my right hand.  It's shaking uncontrollably and the bruise is really dark and kind of ominous.  (Ominous.  That was some good wordage, right there.)

Who watched the fireworks today on TV and sang and danced to every song that was played?  I DID!  Next year I decided that I'm going downtown to see them.  Anybody wanna come with?

Only eight more good-girl days until Cedar Point!  I can't wait!  And on the 15th I'm touring Grand Valley, which is also exciting.  I can't believe I have only one more year at Cousino.  That's kinda sad.

Yesterday I was watching the country music station (yep, and darn proud of it!) and the video for "Whiskey Lullaby" came on... I almost started bawling my eyes out.  It was so sad and depressing.  It really made me think... and it was sad... really sad...  Imagine a guy coming back from war to find his fiancee sleeping with another dude.  Then the guy becomes a drunk, and ends up killing himself because he's still in love with her and can't stop thinking about her...  After that, the woman also starts drinking because she feels it's her fault he died and in the end she kills herself too.  Drama, drama, drama.
