It just dawned on me that there are only 9 days left until the delightful gift-giving holiday we like to call Christmas. This realization was shortly followed by heart-striking panic. "Holy shit! I gotta get shopping!" Unfortunately, this statement is easier said than done. You see, I'm all booked this weekend. That leaves next week; no doubt retailers will be in a lowly state thanks to procrastinaters like myself.
Damn me for procrastinating.
So, how is everybody's holiday season going? Hectic? I understand.
But in the true spirit of Christmas and all that is good and merry, I'll make a pre-New-Year's Resolution... to spread the cheer! Joy to the world! Woot woot! Maybe I'll even buy Christmas cards and give them out to people
On second thought... no. Maybe candy canes because then I can keep some for myself.
Ah, the season of generosity. Bad Mallory, bad! Don't be greedy!
I will give up all the candy canes if need be.
Truth be told, this Christmas should be interesting. As of now, I ain't gettin' squat from my parents. 'Tis a sad morning when the gaily-decorated evergreen hath a bare harvest, when the foresty flora harbors no yuletide gifts nor festive tidings, nothing fastened with bows, nestled 'neath its trunk.
Until next time, my fellows.
