what a wonderful evening. i went to la crosse friday night with shall (she went to see mark, i went to jen jen's). i didn't have to work friday, so i slept in, took my ma and sis to lunch at noodles, and then shally and i headed out around noon. good times in the car, good times: wildwood, salt 'n pepper, 13", squeal!, running over the tire, cruise control, toot if you like beans. with the traffic, we got to la crosse around 3:30. we went into cartwright to vist jen jen working in the cab office like the good president she is. we headed to her apt after that. it is really nice. she's living with hannah (reuter friend) and katie (hannah's high school friend). heart them. we hung out for a while; brian, coid and jermey stopped by. i got to meet mark again when he picked shall up. that was cool. jen, hannah, katie and i went to fazoli's for dinner. we were going to go to "dodgeball" with the boys, but ended up not working out and we just watched "zoolander." that was great. we started drinking around 9ish, then headed over to jermey, fletch and brian's. we play some games with the fun people there. we headed over to mart and kevin's for a little bit for some random fun with cameras, bubble tape and knives. we went over to cooney's (reuter friend) and played some games, talked, acted drunk. crazy time. we went back to the apt and passed out. in the am hannah came out with her hands swollen so back you couldn't see her knuckles and her whole hand was bruised. apparently her and dan had been playing bloody knuckles, and, well, she lost. poor thing. jen and i went to the beach with dan, jermey, brian, fletcher, carly, dani, mart, kevin, and coid for the afternoon. coid had his jet skis in lax so we took those out, played vball, frisbee, swam, hung out. i got burned. WA-HOO!! i finally have color! shall and i headed out of lax around 6:30 for an entertaining ride back to the cities. good night, lots of fun.
i am so excited. tomorrow i get to see "shrek 2" with the fam. that's what my daddy wants to do for father's day. i have heard such good things about it. hopefully meg won't be scared. she is still scared about the first one and doesn't like the idea of seeing another movie.
i am excited for next week. i am with the kiddles everyday, and i work lnt on friday only. shall and i are going to get noodles on tuesday after a day with the kiddles. and i am going to get din with my roomie (lauren) one of the days too. and i think my ma, meg and i are going to see "new york minute" at the ghetto theather. it feels nice to have fun things like that to look forward to. it puts my week in a better light, and i need that.
