leadership soundcheck
this weekend was "no frills" in grand valley, michigan. twelve of us took the 8+ hour van ride to a business conference where we presented a bid to hold a regional conference here november of 2005. the weekend was awesome, even though it started 4:00 friday morn after a night of no sleep and chaos with kurt, becky, mary and other wentz hall residents/drunk people becky let into the building. but that made it all the more interesting. in the end, we got what we went to michigan for and will be holding the conference here in la crosse. so the severe sleep deprivation was not in vain.

::watching oprah and ellen with all the ladies
::getting kicked out of second floor room
::football in the boys' room "represent your gender, bree!"
::walking to the grocery store when it had already closed
::card games in the hospitality room
::becky screaming way too loud at 2am followed by poorly received uncontrollable giggles
::presenting the bid early in the a.m. :)
::finding out we got the bid
::mary not being able to get off
::waiting for two flippin hours for the advisors and tri-chiars! GOSH!
::becky smacking me in the forehead with her saliva drenched hand

::playing in the hotel room with kurt, jim and becky for WAY too long

and probably about 500 other sweet moments. but i am drawing a blank right now. basically it was one of the best weekends ever. what made it EVEN better was friday morning i was talking with tom bottoms and he made me these:
