andrea's back! i forgot how much i love having a roomie.
yesterday the staff/execs from around campus did community service projects. wentz was in an assisted living home. DEFINITELY out of my comfort zone. i spent the time talking with some of the women that live there, sorting through clothes, and looking at birds. all in all a good time. i got to talk to CARL GOETZ online too via aim phone. cool shit. we ordered applebee's for din since a lot of people didn't want to leave the hall for dinner. later in the evening there was a social with poker, games and karaoke. i didn't realize how many people i know, but i was impressed! it was great walking around table to table and knowing people to talk to at everyone. go reslife. i worked the 9-midnight shift that friday evening as well. natalie, becky and i dyed our hair and watched "dawson's creek." yay for staff hair dying fun. i finished up my bulletin boards and door decs later in the night and cleaned up the room.
today i woke up at 1:30. it was glorious. i sat around, chatted, got dressed around 5:00 and had dinner at whit with some wentz hallers. i needed a day like that! i took a nap after dinner. andrea and i ordered toppers later in the evening and watched "thirteen." i think i've seen that movie four times and it is still good. i worked midnight-3 at the desk. there were some people playing monopoly and others just wandering around. about half of the hall is back here now. i am excited for the rest to come back.
i decided to drop my psych minor and just go for community health education as a major. if i get the overrides i am hoping for this semester, then i might be out of here in four years. how crazy is that?! now the question is if i will reapply for RA if i only have a year left. too much thinking!
