what is wrong with this country? i am so disappointed. i cannot understand, no matter how hard i try, why a college age student would vote for bush. at uw-l there was a 98% turnout in our district and of those voters at the rec, 38% voted for bush. i don't get it. on cnn last night the reporters made some comment about how people 18-24 years voted in the same percentage as last election. he kept on going by saying that young voters don't have as much to vote for, they get smarter as they grow up and then they vote, blah, blah, blah. voting IS important to me and i KNOW i have something to vote for. maybe i don't have a house, or kids in school, but i do have rights and i am willing to vote to keep them. and, mr. cnn man, i am not alone in my thinking.

my profile read "you don't have to like bush to love america" and i still believe that. but, i don't know how much i can love america when 51% of people living in america support bush. who are these people? i want to know. cuz i JUST DON'T GET IT.
