so i am lucky to be voting here in WI. we are a swing states, which means we get lots of attention! so far, we've had leonardo dicaprio, sharon stone, carolyn kennedy, and other politicians come here to speak. this week bush and edwards are coming and there are rumors of mr. kerry making an appearance as well. this is all in la crosse, wi. how cool is that?! what a great time to be a college student. another great part of WI is that i can, and did, vote early. andrea and i went last thursday to cast our vote. while filling out the ballot i actually got sick seeing "george w. bush" on it. i cannot believe that there are people that will vote for him. and seeing it there in person was not a pleasurable experience for me at all. i've had a couple moments like that this past week (kapanke at hall council, "protest" outside women on the move, the thought of bush in this city i love so much). but hey, that's what makes this time of my life one that i will remember.

this RA thing is so much better than i thought. i'm pretty sure that reapplying for next year is going to happen. i can't imagine not living in the halls. weird, i know. i just love being around people. my girls, my staff, the execs, pam, and wentz in general just rock hardcore, so i might be setting myself up for a less than comparable experience next year. but that is a risk i am willing to take. i'm still going back and forth between RAing and going to london next year. i was talking to someone today who told me that i should go abroad during a semester as opposed to a summer term just so i can spend more time there. that makes sense. i hate it when that happens. now i have to make a decision. i have time though.

<3 you
love, bree
