so...i finally got a day off to relax on saturday. i was going to work at the dome, but i really need a day off, and it was so so nice. i helped my mom out (er, sorta) at the garage sale saturday. jilly and her boyfriend, chris, came over and chatted for a while. that was good time. jilly, ryan and i reminisced about our childhood while poor chris listened to endless stories about teddy bear band dance routines, science experiments gone wrong and breaking neighbor's windows, air conditioners, lawns, etc. good times. i didn't do anything the rest of the afternoon and it was WONDERFUL. i went to AO!'s in the evening and hung out with her and some of her bro's high school friends. the youngins are fun stuff. i wonder, do i look as old to them as they look young to me? cuz it was weird. AO! and i headed to rice lake to take a walk around the lake, but ended up just stalking, er i mean walking, in the neighborhood. we rented starsky & hutch later. i must say, i enjoy will ferrell much more than ben stiller. though, both are hilarious. i enjoy the random cameos will, ben, owen, vince and luke (that's right, we're on a first name basis) have in each other's movies. i was disappointed to not see the dark hair wilson bro, as he is obviously my fav to watch. rarr. sunday i worked lnt in the afternoon and did nothing the rest of the day. how wonderful. today i was with the kiddles. the day went so fast. what a steal of a job i have. i heart it and the kiddles. my fam and i ate at the granite city brewery tonight. yum yum, i would recommend. i saw some guys working there that look about my age or my bro's (22) and they had WEDDING BANDS! i guess i have been noticing this more as my friends start getting engaged and i can't even THINK about that life right now. the man i nanny always says to his daughter "no dating til you're married!" errr...haha. i went for a jog after dinner. it felt so nice now that my shin splints are getting better. i guess i got back too late cuz my dad was about ready to start looking for me. no running around sunset anymore...

i think i'm going to buy rollerblades tomorrow since i don't have any. and that will be the highlight of my day. maybe even week. woo-hoo.
