WE GOT SNOW!!
We got snow here in Austin it is melting away now but dude the havoc it caused throughout south Texas was a nightmare. We just aren't used to these conditions. And it snowed in San Antonio this year too after 25 years they finally got snow ... the year I moved away rude. We are all excited. The snow is starting to melt but yay it was pretty while it lasted.
I got up all early in order to get to work because the buses would be running on a Sunday schedule but were t here any buses no t here were not. I waited two hours out in that cold for a bus to come finally my bus came then I got off for my transfer and did that bus come nope. I was there for another hour and a half waiting for a bus to take me to work or home. Dude I deserve a gold star or a cookie for trying so hard to get to work. I finally decided to call in and my manager was impressed with my tenacity and dedication. I wanted to kick him because I was so cold. So I went to get a cup of coffee at Valero t hen begin to make my way home on foot and what do I see a bus to take me home. So I am all yay no walking for me and he tells me I have to toss my brand new cup of coffee so hot and much needed to begin to thaw out. Needless to say I got angry with the driver and was like I am not throwing my coffee away I have been waiting for the fucking bus for 3 hours and you finally get here and you want me to throw it away no way. I guess he was surprised because he was like go ahead and take a seat. I didn't mean to yell but I was cold and cranky and seriously 3 hours was a long enough wait. Anyways I am home night all nice and toast about to eat breakfast and watch movies while all nice and warm under my blanket. I will post pictures later because breakfast calls as do the crap load of movies we have for today starting with Due Date and ending with well who knows. Stay warm everyone and safe!
