Day 05 - A book or series you hate
I hate hate hate the Catcher in the Rye... I forced myself to read through the whole novel and I could not figure out what the big deal was about the book. And when asked what I thought about it the first words out of my mouth were what a load of pretentious bull shit. Seriously. I swore never to pick that book up again and was relieved when it was never required reading for any of my classes in High School or even College. I have yet to pick that book up since. Although sometimes I think I should give it another chance I just can't help but shudder when I think about it. I mean I loved A Separate Peace so really should there not be some sort of liking for Catcher in the Rhye? Alas there isn't.
