so i should really update this thing more often
so whats been going on since thanksgiving? hmmmm. well i have barely left my dorm room due to an excrutiatingly large amount of homework. and when i say excrutiating i do mean in the full sense of the word. (literally meaning the pain christ felt at death.) so maybe thats kinda harsh but so true. I have learned one does NOT need more then three fingers to effectively type.
heres is what finals week looked like to me.
Saturday the 11th:
worked 7 hours and then went to high class night. what, may you ponder, is high class night? well its the most rocking fun evening ever! well thats an overstatement. but my boys in de south decided to have a themed party night and high class night won. i got all dolled up in my red dress from sweetheart from high school. kristin went in the sexy black dress she wore to a wedding. and all my boys wore dress shirts, ties, and dress pants. I saw peggy and cat and stef lebre and kim zbella and heather and liz and two random girls all in black as well. i was the only one wearing red which made me "the lady in red" all night. i recieved like a million compliments and just had fun sipping on wine and taking a ton of pictures i one day hope to be able to post. it was just a really fun night and for once jeremy and steve werent insane protective so i had a lot of fun. i slept over at kristins and stayed up til like 5 talking. thus concluded my fun times.
sunday the 12th:
worked 2-10 at penney's. came back to school. studied my brit lit a little, worked on ten page paper due tues, went to bed aorund 2.
monday the 13th:
slept til 10:26 on accident (my alarm clock chose NOW to stop working), ran to 10:30 final. after final i went to the den for lunch with kristin and julie. then to work at the presidents office. we had our student social. i got 30 bucks in bookstore gift certificates and a cookbook and an U-G-L-Y tshirt and a water bottle. ill use exactly one of those things. after work i grabbed some dinner then finished up my ten page paper. followed by an incredibly failed attempt at updating the online flyer. i somehow managed to lose all the files while restarting the computer. I FUCKING HATE MACS. went back to my room. started to work on the studyguide for my final the next morning. at 2 AM i went to George's with steve, kevin lind, wally, jeremy, and jon armstrong. we all studied. i didnt eat. steve had a gyro skillet, i told him not to, this will be important. by 4 AM i quit trying and went to bed.
tuesday the 14th:
took my cultural diversity final. very sad, i hope i got more then half right because im very close to not passing that class. damn gen eds being harder then major courses. after the final i sold back books, bought some gifts for myself with the money, then went to work at the presidents office for a couple hours until i had to go back to my room to shower and chnage for dinner with the president. ive never wanted a dinner to end so much in my life. what a prick. you know who i mean, el presidente can kiss my ass and take back his ugly pillow. but ill be keeping that 50 dollar gift certificate to the bookstore. after dinner i went back to my room. got bored trying to do my website for intro to english studies and took a break around 10 to visit kristin and erin. i went by for about 2 hours. we exchanged gifts. i gave kristin her DVD player and "vote" tshirt and moonie. she gave me a johnny depp poster and shirt and a turtle ornament. i gave erin her two no doubt CDs and she gave me a coat. i said bye to them around 12, dropped by steves room. i knew he wouldnt be there. he was sick ALL DAY from that damn skillet. puked a couple times and everything. so i dropped off his gift. i found the wallet from pulp fiction, the one that says "bad mother fucker" on it. i was gonna wait til his bday in april to give it to him cuz the first time we hung out i jokingly said i would but since he was sick and it is christmas time, i gave in. he was so freakling grateful. i got back to my rooom and IMd him to let him know where the gift was in his room. dont think ive ever felt so appreciated for over something so stupid and small. well thats not true really but it hasnt happened in a long time. so it was cool.
wednesday the 15th:
got up and found out i didnt need to go home to help my mom out in the AM so i went to bed a little longer, did some more of my website, and then studied for an hour for my mass media final before taking it. i think i bombed it. oh well. after the final i worked for 2 hours on CCD stuff. then went to class. we had our xmas parties. my room got totally trashed. we had this round robin thing where your aide takes your kids to different stations and each room is a station. other people are so not as respectful. grrr. afterward i went home for dinner to just kinda chill a bit. i opened all the gifts my kids gave me. they are so cute. i love them so much. went back to school around 7:00. when i gotback i finsihed up my website. then went to the den where i ran into jon bartszack. thanks everyone for telling me he was here. grrr. after the den i dropped by kristins to geta cd to put my project on and stopped by steves room. we all ended up watching moulin rouge. steve hated it and jeremy tried to fall asleep during it. oh well. they promised they would and kristin got to see most of it before she went to bed. i fought with derek before bed.
thursday the 16th:
i woke up at 8:24 Am. i was suppose to be up at 7:20. I missed my presentation time. so i had to wait for everyone else to finish. which almost made me late for my peer ministry interview. afterward i was so frustrated i called off work at the presidents office to work on my 7 page paper which was due the next day. i worked on that til i had to leave to work at penneys from 5-close. when i got back i rounded up the last of my laundry from the laundry room nd then went to jav's to try and celebrate the end of the semester. i got a little drunk way too fast for me and realized it was due to like 3 hours of sleep and almost zilch to eat. so i went to de south with kristin to visit jeremy and steve one last time before second semester. ill miss those kids over break. oh well. see them soon. we went back to jav's and i stayed pretty late trying to get jav to go to bed and make sure shannon was okay. by the time i finally laid down in my bed it was almost 5.
friday the 17th:
woke up at noon ran to lunch with my lunch buddies. it was our last lunch together and almost everyone showed up. which was totally awesome. we had a kick ass time and dissed midgets. so fun. seriously put me in a 1000% better mood. i went back to my room finished my paper and then took a shower. derek dropped by after and gave me my gift. itwas a squishface whom i named Jo Jo, Idle Hands and the roswell second season DVD set. he stuck around and talked to me while i packed which took over an hour. then he helped me move shit to my car. which i thank him a lot for!!!!! and i had good fun. i then drove over, dropped off my keys to housing, turned in my paper, and got food for dinner from the den for my family. i spent the rest of the night unpacking and watching TV with dad.
saturday the 18th:
happy birthday nicole! i woke up around 10 showered and worked from 12-8. then came back, finished up my chirstmas tree for CCD. its SO CUTE. i also set up this here dealy (computer) and thencrashed.
sunday the 19th :
today i got up at 6:45 and work 7:55-4:10. then came back here showered and was ditched by meaghan. so im watching channel 12 and FINALLY updating this dealy.
