(no subject)
thursday i woke up at about 9:30 and showered and ate. then i went in for the home stretch of angels and demons. i didnt get too far before derek called. we were suppose to go to the mall to look for a new job for me. so i went and got him and swung by orland mall. we made out first stop at the body shop. i was only going in boutiques if they had help wanted signs and then i was gonna hit up the big 4 department stores. our next stop was kay jewelers. i wanted to stop by and get derek a necklace so he could wear the gold cross i'd gotten him. it was all a christmas gift but i wanted him to be able to wear the cross on our retreat and to church. so i got a gold chain for a good price. he was overly excited. which makes me glad. then we went in JC Penny.
i was told to go down to customer service and fill out an application on the computers down there. as i was filling one out, the store manager happened to walk by and asked what i was doing. i told him i was filling out an application for sales associate. he pulled two ladies over and told me to come back in 45 minutes for an interview. i was quite excited. so derek and i went to panera and got somen lunch (yay soup in a bread bowl!!!!!!) and then went to gamestop so i could see how much money i still needed to pay on Halo 2 for Phil's bday gift. right after that we went back to JC Penny where my interview basically consisted of when can you come in to train and here's our dress code. that rocked. so i start next weekend.
after the interview we stopped shortly in sears and then i took derek home and brough my car home for Phil who needed it for work. i was suppose to go with my mom to get the van back from the shop that night but it didnt pan out. instead i finsihed angels and demons and emailed my paper in to weilgos. i was quite pleased with myself. after my parents got home from parent teacher confreneces i talked to them for like an hour before going over to derek's. we watched some TV, i dont even know what anymore. but i had a good time. i know that. and i left a very happy girl.
