why do mom/dad never seem to understand....?

...sheesh if only my mom would come to me to my sociology class she'd know that there is such a thing about a "generation gap". when will she realize that generation x isn't like how it was in the 80s. ok so i'm for sure going to prom with my friend kayla and so i bought my ticket today and you obviously can't go into fort bliss w/out having license, registration for the car, and insurance and kayla only has her license. so i was telling my mom that my friend alex was all like hey we need more ppl to come in the limo w/us but you need to pay your part. and i'm like ugh, no more money. and so i'm telling my mom this and i'm like but it's not just gonna be for prom but for the after partis 2 and then she's all like yeah but the limo is gonna cost more and dadadada. and then she's all like when you need to go try on your dress, kayla better take cuz i'm not porque ah mi ya me vale madre, me vale! and i was all like shit. stupid lady, if only she knew how teens acted nowdays. she swears as i don't know that mostly everyone from americas drinks and smokes (and practically o.d.) why does she always have to get like that w/me and not my bro? he can come home like at 4am and she'll just be like oh ur not going out next week! i swear i could definitly throw some blows.

anyways, sunday i went to go pick up my bro at confirmation and i saw everyone there, including ariel and she didn't say hi to me. ew i also saw amanda and she definitly looks like a clown, too much makeup. well then i went to the mall to go look for a dress for saturday (which i found, it's cute, it's got butterflys) and well i also saw ariel there with some gay guy and i thought she was gonna say hi because they were both staring at me, but she didn't. i mean come on it's me, dominiek, i never say hi to anyone first, and everyone knows that! you have to say hi first or holla my name out cuz i'ma act as if i don't know you, duh!
