What does it sound like when doves cry? I bet there's a lot of sad chirping.

Damn this latest Final Fantasy (part 7) I've been playing has been taking me forever. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about that because the game itself is a lot of fun, I just forgot how long of a game it is. Right now I'm starting to head toward the end, but I still probably won't have that game beat within the next couple of weeks because of the sheer massive amount of side quests available to do. Do I have to do them? Of course not, but I want all the best secret weapons I can get for my characters, not to mention the ultra secret, ultra kick-ass magic spells. Everyone who's played FF7 says that some of the bosses to get that secret equipment and magic are even harder to beat than the final boss at the end. So I'm curious to see what that kind of challenge is. So yeah, I'm thoroughly enjoying my time with Final Fantasy 7, though the storyline for it is about as confusing as I remember. Anyone care to try and explain to me the whole deal between Sephiroth and Cloud? I mean is Cloud a clone or isn't he? And what about the bizarre continuity issues that game has, sometimes I just assume they left stuff out of the American version that was in the Japanese one, but didn't edit the game to fit those changes.
I also saw screenshots and a website for this new adventure game coming out that I really cannot wait for! It's called The Lost Crown: A Ghosthunting Adventure. It's done by the same people who made two other really creepy and ass-kicking games called Darkfall: The Journal and Darkfall 2: The Lighthouse. I don't really know if Lost Crown is a sequel to the Darkfall games, but the main character you play as in that game is a paranormal investigator that shows up in both previous Darkfall games, so if it's not a direct sequel, it at least has some vested ties into the games. For my money, Darkfall was not only one of the best adventure games I've ever played, but it was certainly the scariest. I'd have to put it between Resident Evil and Silent Hill, not quite as scary and bizarre as Silent Hill (though anyone that has played Silent Hill probably would agree that there just isn't any game that's scarier), but still scarier than Resident Evil. I wouldn't say that Darkfall 2: Lighthouse, is exactly a scary game, but I had just as much fun with it as Darkfall: The Journal, because Lighthouse not only has a great scary storyline, but also delves into time travel and alien beings a bit too. I know it sounds corny when you read it, but I would completely recommend both Darkfall games to anyone with a computer, regardless of their experience with adventure games (I'm looking at you Melissa).
Well that's all for me today, I've got more computer homework to finish up and some money to deposit from work. Ta!

Sincerely,
I'm not even trying anymore

PS - Everyone needs to go see V for Vendetta. Like now!
