The evil shape-shifting dude in The Missing doesn't actually do any shape shifting...

--Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip that started from this tropic port aboard this tiny ship. The Mike was a mighty sailin' man, the Aaron brave and sure. Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour, a three hour tour. The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed! If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost, the Minnow would be lost. The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle with Mikigan, the Aaron too, Mattillionare and his Mel, the Jennichu, the Professor and Kitty-Ann. Here on Mikigan's Isle!--

This most likely won't be much of a post because I want to do two things. The first is to pay for my renewal car tags from the DMV. The crappy part about this is in California you have to renew your tags every year as opposed to Oregon where I only had to renew them once every three years and not to mention it was about sixty bucks cheaper to do so. The good part is in California I don't have to actually go down to the DMV, they have a website where I can do everything online. An awesome feature for a lazy bastard such as myself. The second reason is I'm really getting into my new adventure game called Safecracker. I found it in the discount shelf at Fry's probably because it's a few years old and for the most part, adventure games are cheaper than other games anyway. It's a little old school with the graphics despite the fact it's not that old (2000, I think). The game takes place from the player's point of view, in the game you're one of the most elite buglars in the world and an eccentric (ie; fucking crazy) bazillionare wants you to design his new security system for a ridiculous sum of money. Your test for getting the shop is to first break into his mansion, then crack into enough of his safes (there are 35 in total) to gather enough clues to crack his mastersafe, the safe to end all safes. There's a time limit of 12 hours to do this and because you're doing it at night, there is no one in the game to interact with, all the safes you must break into on your own by either figuring out a safe's particular puzzle or finding one of the myriad of obsure clues left throughout the house to help you crack it. I've gotten into most of the safes on the first floor and figured out the elevator code so I've been checking out both the cellar and second floor on some of those safes as well. In total, I think I've cracked somewhere around fifteen safes and goddammit I'm gonna be cracking some more in a few minutes. I swear that game is like crack, except I don't get high and sleep with Aaron like that one time!
My friend Daniel is bringing in an anime to work for us to watch called Samurai Champloo. I've seen bits and pieces of it on Adult Swim and it looks pretty kick ass, but I always catch it in the middle of the series, so tonight we'll get to sit down and watch some of the beginning episodes. I just know I'm gonna get addicted to yet another anime series I won't be able to afford to buy. Thank fucking you very much Japan!

Sincerely,
The Navigator

PS - Props to those that get that reference. For those that don't, you just get a big cock slap to the face!
