So...yesterday my boss wanted to know why an 'easy' change on a template wasn't done. (The template was made by past employee and we'd found a small quirk when a customer adds to many buttons to their website.) When I explained that it wasn't an easy change and that I really wanted to rebuild the template from the original artwork (and lose all the spacers she'd included) he said that he would just take an hour or so and get it done. An hour later he came back and said, "You know, It's not that important."
Granted, he was very distracted by phone calls and what not, but it's still a good feeling that when I tell him this isn't a simple fix and he tries to do it, he finds that I was right.
I will probably try to find some time and redo the template later so that I can clean it up properly. Hopefully no clients will yell in the meantime. I mean, it only breaks when someone puts far too many buttons on the page. This is real estate, for goodness sakes. People want to get in, search for homes and move on. They don't want 15 buttons about your dog.
:D
