Academics

I'm not a big fan of sitting idle. I'd rather throw on my cape and save the world on a daily basis, or at least keep my place clean. I don't think human beings were meant to sit and not do much. We, throughout the evolution of our world, have been perpetually busy; hunting and gathering, caring for young, finding lodging in our nomadic style, fighting for survival. What brings this up, you ask? I sat around the past two days and I feel icky. I have got to find something to get me active and take up some time. And my brothers call me a freak for wishing I could start my online classes early. Pbbbbt.
Speaking of my classes for this quarter (yeay) I have my schedule figured out and I know who all my professors will be. This quarter will be another fifteen credit one, and the classes will officially be:
1. Cultural Anthropology
2. World Regional Geography
3. Social Psychology
I'm pretty darn happy about all of these. I think they're all going to be challenging classes, but to me Challenging= Incredibly Fun (or, Woohoo! for short). And just like last quarter (Spring), this quarter I've already thrown down the gauntlet: I'm aiming for 4.0 and Dean's List again.
My younger baby brother will be starting his sophomore year of high school on Wednesday. He isn't a baby anymore, as he will be seventeen in October (sniffle). He's still my little boy though, because I helped raise him all these years. He drives me crazy and I want to strangle him sometimes, but I'm proud of him anyway.
Let me tell you though, I went with him to get his schedule last week, and I have never: Seen so many hair colors not ever found in nature, piercings, and inappropriate length shorts. I have also never felt so old. Did I look that young? Good grief. Go into your old high school and see the new kids, and you'll feel about 100 years old. I kept wondering where I left my walker.
