-Bruised Knee, palms and left side of rib cage from being bashed against the stage all night
-Never seeing so many skinheads in one place at one time all getting along
-Everyone in the audience singing along to EVERY song
-Meeting new people (especially the cute boys) that were the nicest people ever
-Shaking the hand of the legend twice and having his sweat drip onto you while hes rocking the fuck out
-Being in complete bliss for 3 hours
Yeah that pretty much sums up Desmond Dekker. I was sweating so much, all the lights from the stage beating onto me and all the energy from everyone just made the night so fucking amazing. Liz and Len made my night fucking complete, i havent seen them in so long!
I have pictures, but whenever i go to upload them they come out really small. i dont know why. i have the best shot.. ever.
Concerts like these, the skatalites from last year just make me THAT much happier to be in the place i am listening to the music i listen to. i fuckin love it, i love being surrounded by it, i appreciate being brought up in it, and i fucking love the energy people give to you when youre out to have a good time.
if anyone knows how to make the pictures bigger without distorting them.. help a sistah out!!
