Hello everyone! :)

November is speeeeding by. It's crazy. One more week (with a chem exam), one more weekend, and 1.5 more days (with a bio exam) and I'll be on Thanksgiving break. I'm SO ready for it already.

This is the longest I've gone not coming home, and it feels kind of weird. I miss home, but I'm not sure what exactly I miss. I know I feel like I haven't seen my mom in forever (it's been over a month, at least), and 3 or 4 weeks since I've seen Steve. And I don't even know when I last saw Bill. I miss the pets a lot too- when I'm home, it's pretty rare that 10 minutes goes by that I don't have some kind of interaction with at least one of my pets. I kind of wish I had a good place to keep a fish- just to have SOMETHING.

Thursday was amazing because chem lab was fairly fun and I got a 100% on my chemistry homework, after getting it done early. (This does not happen!) Friday, I didn't have to worry about the chem homework so I didn't do much of anything. I spent a lot of time napping, and some time going to class and eating. huzzah! Friday night, Joe came with me to improv. Apparently at least two people thought Joe and I might be more than friends or something, which is a little crazy (I mean, I walked into improv with him, that was it), but also pretty funny. I didn't think it was quite as funny as usual, but it's still always fun. I didn't go up for any games, but they did a lot of games I didn't know, and I guess I just wasn't feelin it. Anyway, afterwards Joe left, and then I went to Applebee's with the group. Good times, good Oreo milkshake. :) And i had a couple of "they like me, they really like me" moments. Because even though I don't usually have problems with people meeting me and hating me or anything, it's still kind of good to hear that I'm welcome there by everyone, and not just Ryan.

Speaking of... after 'Bees, Ryan and I went back to his dorm to grab his DVD's (which I have conveniently taken hostage) and then over to my room to watch Back To The Future. I'd never seen it before. I really liked it. I think a lot of the reason was just that the 80's are funny, and I love the 50's. I wanted to do Bye Bye Birdie all over again. :) But seriously- it was a good movie, and I'm glad I've seen it. Course, now there are two more... plus Star Wars... plus Firefly... and a multitude of other movies we plan to watch. Plus Boozer and I have our list of movies we want to see at some point (including our Disney movie marathon- schaweet!). I think my college social existence is going to consist entirely of movie-watching. Not that I mind; I love movies. Anyway- Ryan and I watched the movie- me talking the whole time as usual, and thinking out loud, making the connections- and then hung out for awhile. And it was already late. So I'm extremely sleepy today, but last night was definitely amazing.

And apparently I'm huggable, kissable, and cuddlable. :)

Back to The Wizard of Oz. It's on TV. I was really excited to see it on- I like this movie- but at the same time, I like the beginning so much better than at the end, and I only caught the movie once they were in Oz. :-\ I used to watch this a lot when I was little at the Rittman's house down the street. They had a projector thingy in their basement, and it was great. I don't remember if I've ever watched it at my house. I know my dad would never watch it, lol, because when he was younger the witch scared him, and he just refused to watch it from then on. This kinda makes me miss drama people I haven't seen in forever too (I don't think I've seen Sarah Ferenc since graduation!)... dressing up as Dorothy at the insight kid's fair was so much fun. And a much more comfortable costume than the Scooby Doo or Rugrats ones. Anyway- not sure why this movie has so many memories associated with it, but now you know.

Have a lovely evening, everyone!

PS- IF YOU HAVE THE ACOUSTIC VERSION (not live, acoustic) OF "PENNY AND ME" BY HANSON, PLEEEEEEASE GIVE IT TO ME! :-D
