It was a distraction, but one that was short-lived. Between the uniformed soldiers of U.N.I.T and the police tending to the rest that made it back through the bus, there was mere minutes remaining before McMillan would find her in the crowd. She knew what would happen if he caught her too. Down that road was nothing but the expected arrest and even further down would come a trial and imprisonment.
Being caged up was not a part of the plan she knew as her life.
What McMillan wouldn't be counting on was the Doctor, standing there away from the busy crowd, as she made her way over to him. The area filled with flashing lights of the patrol cars around them. There was no telling what would come from this; She had certainly learned how unpredictable this strange alien man could be. And that was a much more promising venue to take than the one that lay behind her.
"Little blue box. Just like you said," Christina said with a grin on her lips.
