Here it goes...
Hey Everyone,
So this is what this livejournal stuff is all about. I have been pondering the issue about starting a Live Journal for about a year now, but never did it. Well I finally talked myself into it...LOL! I think that the main purpose for this is because we all live crazy lives and this is a great way to stay in touch or what is going on with everyone.
Tonight was a good night, I hung out with a couple of my good friends Nick and Theresa. It was nice to hang out with those people who you have been friends with for a few years and they are always there for support. Afterward I had a good chat with Nick about many things. It is nice that we can help each other out and also share some common thoughts. I actually might have him convinced to step into the dark side....Student Affairs :)
The semester is almost over with and I am not sure how I feel about it. I will be going home to spend the holidays with my Mom and Dad. Currently, I am not feeling the whole Holiday spirit. I don't want a tree, listen to music or any presents. I am feeling this way because I hate spending the holidays with just my parents and I shouldn't complain because there are people out their with no family out there. My brother will be in Minnesota with his family, my aunts and uncles are with there families, and then it leaves us and my grandma. However, I have plans to do lots of shopping with my mom, hang out with my friend Melissa, and get together with some friends from CMU. If you want to get together let me know?
This has been one crazy full semester of things going on. I honestly can say I have learned a lot throughout this semester either in classes, but mostly about life and my life. Most of us are getting to the point in our lives where we are ready to take the next step in life. Some already know where there life will be headed and others don't. It a mystery in the lives of many! I know that next semester will be my last on here at CMU and then I will be closing that chapter in my life. But continuing on in my next chapter I will be taking along all the experiences I have gained in these past 4 years that have made me who am I, as well as some lifelong friends. Lastly, I want to thank all my friends who have been there for me during the good and the bad these past 4 years and I a shout out goes to my mom. I am not sure what I would do with out her, she is there for me to talk to, cry to, share happy times and frusterating times. That's my mom!
