The scariest thing happened last night. I was getting ready for bed and I glanced over and noticed a spider crawling around inside my toilet! Normally I'm an excellent spider killer, but come on, it was creeping along in my toilet bowl. Elch, it was so gross, so I just flushed it down the toilet. But oh man, now I'm gonna have to check my toilet for spiders every time I go to the bathroom!
I've definitely been sick the past week which has kinda sucked, so I've basically just been sleeping and baby-sitting (which probably got me sick in the first place). But I feel a lot better and can breathe again.
Oh man, God has totally been blessing my work life lately and I'm so thankful for that. I was getting frustrated when all my job opportunities for the summer kept falling through because I'm gonna be gone for 5 weeks in Ireland and I was like I just need some way to make money...but I can't work most Saturdays and I don't want to work that much so I can still hang out with my friends and then I'm gonna be gone for a long time...so nothing seemed to be working out. But now, God has been providing all these baby-sitting opportunities and I love it. It's pretty much perfect hours because I can always say no if I have plans and the people are so great. I really feel like this is a form of ministry as well because all these couples just want some time out by themselves. It seems like my church was just starved for some good baby-sitters.
