Lucius didn't even bother to roll his eyes lazily as he read the last letter. He knew it was about time to get used to Severus treating him as he pleased. He didn't much like killing to create his army for him.
He left an elf with word to his wife before he stepped out, Apparating in front of his residence on Spinner's End.
Lucius used the top of his cane to knock on the door and waited patiently for someone to answer, if not Snape himself.
Snape was the one to answer and allow Lucius into the pathetic excuse for a home - he didn't have bloody house elves to do all of the easy work. Shutting the door behind his minion (hehe - Severus secretly liked calling the Death Eaters that) he half wondered if it was wise to allow Lucius to know where he really lived... He made up his mind not to tell anyone other than the man.
Lucius raised an eyebrow, still not accustomed to such a lack of hospitality. Severus could have at least asked him to sit and.. attempt to make himself comfortable in such a hellhole.
He craned his neck up higher to look at Severus down his nose, "You know the boy, Miles Bletchley, I presume. Until recently- a student of yours?"
Severus raised his eyebrow. The news was certainly unexpected and if he had any reason not to believe Lucius in a matter like this, then he would have peeked into the man's mind... but instead he suppressed a smirk.
"He did," Lucius said gripping his cane a bit harder. He still didn't buy it completely. Or perhaps he wasn't over the shock of the young Bletchley coming to him for help-in his own way.
"He would like security for his children; protection from us."
"No better protection than to join us," Severus nodded, not at all shocked that a whore like Bletchley (yes, even the professors had heard of his excapades) knocked some girl up - probably dirty-blood too.
"While he does have qualities that could work well for us - he can hide thoughts well and knows people's reactions before they occur - he cares too much. Even if he wants to be a Death Eater now, I do not see him staying with it, too many bints have softened him."
Lucius nodded slightly in agreement, however for different reasons. He could not see the boy trusting them-or himself- after what happened to his Father.
"What shall we do, then?" He gripped the center of his cane and crossed his arms, "Let him down lightly, I presume?"
"I train your son," he sipped lazily at his tea, an evil glint in his eyes. "It's fun, to say the least - and I favor Draco. Imagine the fun you can have with a bloodtraitor like Bletchley."
Lucius raised his eyebrows, he still had little to no knowledge what exactly went on between him and his son. Only in the mornings when Draco looked like hell itself did he figure it was a 'training' night.
However.. after thinking about it for a moment-well, that did sound like it could be quite fun.
"I do like the sound of that, Severus. You don't think he'll stick with it though? Or-should I make sure of that?" Oh ho. This could be very fun.
"He'll drop out eventually," Severus knew it for certain he would. "Like I said, he has been softened. If your training does not make him leave, someone he cares for will."
He could only imagine right now what Lucius would do to the Bletchley boy - afterall, it had been he to help in killing Bletchley Senior.
"And as I do expect him to leave, don't provide him with any more information than necessary."
He reached a hand up to stroke the light stubble on his chin, racing through a few ideas. Lucius was going to take Miles' ego down a few notches if it was the last thing he did. The few moments he spent with the boy made him want to hurt him, or worse.
"In other words-he'll need to know nothing about your involvement?" That was obvious, what with the two of them working under Dumbledore's nose in his own school.
Then come and discuss it.

"You seem stressed, Lucius," he said, as if making polite conversation. "Perhaps you need to... have some fun."

Although Lucius was starting to, at least, warm up to Severus' idea of being a Death Eater and 'fun' were.. he had reservations.
"Perhaps," he mimicked, not bothering to keep the curious look off of his face, "And what do you think that entails, Severus?"
Because a book in front of the fire in his study would do quite nicely in his opinion.
