Ah, Yeah
Was leafing through through the NME at the railway station yesterday (steamy windows were obscuring the pole dancing classes), saw there was the Top 25 Alt Ballads or something, and there was the Yeah Yeah Yeahs at number one with "Maps". Good choice, felt Lucius, despite not being over enamoured of Karen O's style (unlike my sister) and nasty bowl haircuts (miss_mode be warned!) because it is a beyond fantastic song. She don't love you like I love you, indeed.
Sometimes by My Bloody Valentine also in there (it's on Lost in Translation soundtrack if you don't know it, very prominently), also Tailights Fade by Buffalo Tom, I remember a lot of would be balladeers churning that out at University in 1994. Are Buffalo Tom still going? Decent band.
Had mass convulsions at work yesterday, pulling every muscle in my chest and making me dizzy for the rest of the day. I don't really see it of course, but I got e-mails asking if I was ok so it would have been a bad one. I'd hate to be caught on film doing that or bowling an imaginary cricket ball, god. *LOL*
Have decided to walk to the Air Museum on saturday and look athe 60 planes on show including the world famous Vulcan. Early start, 6 mile walk, couple hours there and back in time to watch Scotland being thrashed by France in the 6 nations I reckon.
