an addition to the family
Yesterday evening my sister gave birth to an adorable, not so little baby boy. He was born at 6:46pm. My sister and brother in law named my nephew: Adam Luther S. Now I am not too crazy about the middle name, but that was their decision to make. It sounds too much like a super hero type of name. But anywho.. I am an aunt, or as my people would say a "tia"! Adam is so damn cute. He weighs 9lbs8oz and measured in at a whopping 21inches. He is a big, beautiful baby boy. Thank goodness he and my sister had no difficulties through the pregnancy or the surgery; my sis had a c-section. The doctors had recommended a c-section after they realized that the baby was off the size charts. Good thing they did because during the surgery they realized that Adam was wedged in my sis' pelvis, he coud have been hurt had they attempted natural birth. They are both doing fine and the family couldn't be more thrilled. I will post pics of my nephew ASAP.
