Report on Otakon! =D

So! Got back from Otakon a while ago and have uploaded most of the pictures I took there onto the Internet! Holy wow, it was fun; it was great getting away from my now-stressful home life for a while, especially with such awesome people as Dalin and Julia and... and... I had a great time. ^^

They currently have the latest chapter of NANA scanlated with the next one due out in a few weeks. You do have to join to see all the links, but everything is hosted on 4 different sile sharing sites so there's at least one that should work for you. Anime is also in the very last folder, :D

And just a heads up, episode 11.5 is just recap.

Advanced on the fast track to platonic BFF land, she means. XD I've spoken to Urd-chan a few times on-line, and other than being a wee bit rabid (to put lightly) she seems okay. I get the sense that she's very lonely and that fandom is all she really has.

Whee! Looks like you had fun, though. I stayed home and ate cookie dough straight from the container. ^_^

Urd's reputation precedes her for sure, but she was definitely more... toned down than I would have imagined her to be. She did a lot of talking about things I didn't necessarily agree with, but I certainly don't regret going to the panel and seeing her in person. She really wasn't as bad as fandom had made her out to be.

And yes; I did have lots of fun. ^_^

Haha as I was scrolling down I saw the pic of urd-chan, but I didn't know for sure if it was her. I was looking at it, thinking, 'this woman looks very familiar...', then I looked down and read your caption x_x. Pretty sad I can recognize her like that and I've never even met/spoke to this person =/.
Thomas the Tank Engine and random DDR mat cosplayer are crack!love ♥ ^^

DDR mat person still won me over though. Probably because a DDR mat is not a costume XD

The best is when I tried to take a picture of the Hitsugaya/Hinamori cosplayers next to Barney, he got all offended and started to try to flip me off ("try" being the key word: his fingers are kind of all fused together).

And I give DDR mat credit; poor girl has no arms to work with. I wonder who got more pictures taken of them: Barney or DDR mat?

You put some hardcore effort into it, misseh, and I'm damn grateful. I was such a colossal slacker at Anime North; I have maybe a dozen pictures total to remember my adventures. So - excuse me while I leech off of your pleasant memories to reconstruct my own. =D

Definitely looks as though you had an awesome time. ZOMG, I'm hitting CNAnime at the beginning of September, and you have INSPIRED me to attack it with glee and many countless snapshots.

Awesome, awesome. So glad the con was an adventure for ya!

*modesty* Well... most of my pictures were of cosplayers, and I have loads more that I took in the hotel room that I didn't put in the post. All in all, this post took about two hours to write, with all of linking and html codes and such, and let me just say that my 300+ pictures were a pain to upload.

Oh wow, I can't wait to see the pictures from your upcoming con! And thanks, Otakon was loads of fun. *wants to go back*

I still can't belive I didn't see you until Sunday and we were on the same freakin' floor of the hotel!!!!!!!! I totally saw the Sango and Miroku (with the slap mark) on the line to get Nana Kitade autograph Saturday. I didn't bother going to the concerts cause that's really not my thing. If I did go I would have probably been sitting next to you at the bar. ^_^

Blahhhhh, I can't wait til next year ... funny enough neither can my parents. They seemed to have liked Baltimore as much as I liked going to the convention. sweetttt.
