My flist is composed mostly of people whom I've met through fandom. Most of you are writers, and although I don't always comment on the things you write, I do read them. I notice styles, details, certain turns of phrase that are uniquely...you. Or at least I think I do

"Everyone has such great names!" she shouted suddenly, silencing the rest of the group, who had been discussing this or that.
"What do you mean, Inoue-san?" Ichigo asked. Orihime beamed as she sat up so she could use her arms better in her explanation.
"I mean, everyone's names fit them so well! 'Chad' sounds best if you do this while you say it." Orihime hunched her shoulders and clenched her teeth, and in her lowest, most gutteral sounding voice possible, grunted out "Chad," or something that sounded like a reasonable facimile. Everyone laughed, and gave each other looks, that said 'there she goes again'
Orihime went on to explain that "Ichigo" sounded best as a battle cry, and that "Rukia" was best as a taunt. Especially directed towards Ichigo, for some reason, Orihime deduced with a smile.

At the end of the day, near the end of handicrafts club, Orihime bounded up to Ishida with a grin from ear to ear.
"I figured out how your name sounds best, Ishida-kun!" she beamed, then suddenly leaned in very close to his ear, and whispered.
"Ishida-kun's name sounds best as a whisper," she confided, and before Ishida could pull away and cough and pretend to adjust his glasses to hide his blush, she said one more word that made the little hairs on the back of his neck stand on end,
"Uryuu."
