I realized that I've spent more years driving than not driving. This marks a milestone.
I'm counting years from when I got my driver permit, even though I didn't have a car until 6 years later. It also took a while to obtain the almighty driver license. (Not going into details about that!) After hearing "please Mom, can I borrow the car?" for 6 years, she finally took the plunge into a newer model for herself, thus giving me the older model for free. Yay!
