Very nice. I enjoyed the fact that there happy ending is so perilously balanced and has to be constantly worked for, particularly the comment abtoudrawing back from the one unsayable thing that would end it.

this was amazing. I just want to congratulate you for writing so beautiful and insightful. You wrote from the third person, descriptive, sans conversation for a lot of it which is something that ususually makes me gag because too often authors take that as a liberty to ramble on about their personal views on everything from Spinich to Ron's taste in clothing, while pretending it is all legitimate commentary on their storyline. But you did not. Your writing was concise and concentrated with a clear objective, a definite path and a beautiful trail leading us through. I adored the imagery, how you did not shy away from the ugly but still wrote the beautiful without making it melodramatic and epic, because life isn't epic. I am really very jealous and ... satisfied after reading this. It was beautiful.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked it. I haven't had anyone tell me that they're satisfied at the end of this one before, I don't think. It tends to leave people feeling all sad and maudlin. Despite that, or perhaps because of it, it is still one of my favorite things I have ever written. Again, thank you.

I am completely in awe!!!
This is fantastically written, simply excellent! I very much like the calm and somehow quiet tone of the whole fic.
Very good how you not let it end in fluff like 'they-lved-happily-ever-after-even-though-they-were-outcasts*, but instead showed how much they had to work everyday to make this love work. It is a great lovestory, but at the same time leaves me with a sad feeling. His devotion for her...sighs...
And I thinki it is only naturally that sometimes Hermione hates him a litte - she HAS killed her best friend for him after all.
However, I'd like to think that Harry would have wanted it this way, too, instead of being made a murderer.

I've read almost all of your fics, and loved them all, but this one.... unbelievable...

Thank you so much. I'm really glad you like it so much. This one is one of my own favorites as well. The fact that it's het has nothing to do with anything really, because with this, I said almost everything I wanted to say exactly the way I wanted to say it, and that is one of the hardest things to do in writing. To get it just right, or even mostly right is one of the most satisfying feelings imaginable.

I liked it very much. Only time could show the toll Harry's death and their decision took on their lives. And I like that they have to make that decision that they want to be together over and over again. Very true, imo.

I just reread this for the first time in a very long time, and I have to say it struck me all over again with it's poignant simplicity. There's a warmth here that I absolutely love, and a balanced clarity that is incredibly pleasant to read. Thank you for writing this. <3
