That is some really extensive canon, and way too het for my tastes. ;) But it definitely does point to one of the things I have trouble with--there's so much backstory, it's honestly overwhelming, to say nothing of the diverging canon. I just have to be content to stick with the movie!verse (and some very intriguing info has come from SDCC about the plots of the future movies), but sometimes a story from the comics sounds really interesting. I wish the movies could do diverging canon, it'd be awesome.

Reddit: Yeah, stay away from /r/atheism. It's largely religion-bashing and smugness and that gets tiresome. I unsubscribed ages ago. What I am subscribed to that might interest you...
