(no subject)
So I got this cold...and it's terrible. I haven't had something like this is years! I'm pretty sure I got it at work since I do deal with the public all day. It starts out with the head congestion, body aches and all that jazz...then it gets dandy. It turns into this cough. A bad cough. The type of cough that lets you get only one and a half hours of sleep no matter how much cough medicine you take. It's pretty brutal. I tried sleeping while sitting up since I thought that the cough was just triggered when I lay down. Heh, I was wrong. I woke mom up once and she gave me my inhaler from when I had pneumonia last winter, which help for a little while. All the rest of my cold symptoms are gone though, which is a slight bonus I guess. The super down side? No time off work. I don't get sick days working at the store unless I'm actually in the hospital...kinda messed up.
Hopefully I'm better by this weekend...Josh's cousin's band is playing in Campbell's Bay at the Baie Inn and he's been looking forward to it all month. I don't want to mess up his evening because I'm sick...and the fact that he is now sick since he kissed me when I told him not to. But he says he doesn't care how sick he is...he's not going to miss the show. Men can be quite s-m-r-t sometimes haha. If this cough can die down a little bit by the weekend I'll go, if not, he can go with his buddies and I'll just pick him up after the show is done.
Well I must now get ready for a seven hour shift that I totally don't feel like working...but someone has to do it.
