Last Night Stand

The Bachelor Party was a success! Thank God. ^.^ God forgive us! Hahaha. We got a few shots in the A-man, so he loosened up, enjoyed Platinum Showgirls (Even Megan and Allison seemed to have fun - to a point - inasmuch as one could say it was as good a bar as any!) Well, Megan and I procrastinated till that afternoon to get the hotel room, so it was something like 60 bucks. Anthony's presents and food and alcohol cost another 40 bucks apiece, but it was all worth it. He said it was awesome, Meg and I both were happy with the way it turned out, and Allison and Noah both seemed to enjoy themselves, so all in all, I'm glad it's good memories.

On another side of that, four or five shots of Tequila, one Jager bomb, one Jack & Coke and three Smirnoff later, I only had a minor headache this morning. In fact, it would have all be perfect, if I could have just gone back to bed when I got home!

No such luck, haha.

Packed my shit from the garage into the truck today, dropped it off at the storage shed... the people who we rented it from promised to clean the last of the stuff out of it, and didn't, so we took it all and set it on the lawn. The amazing
lock system (cheap latch and clasp thing) was missing the clasp, the metal loop that you thread the lock through. Common now, really! At this point Joe and I are already pretty irritated by the behavior of the storage co, and to top things off, when Joe went to get a replacement clasp, we removed the old one, put the new to the door, and lo! The holes wouldn't line up. Not even a little bit. We had to screw in one of four screws, and Monday Joe is going to go back and have them replace the lock. Anything happens to my shit and I'll have their heads. :D

*Happy Thoughts*

Tomorrow I start my moving list, do the laundry I don't actually need for the week, and start to pack for the last time. Two Packages of socks, wifebeaters, three pair of shoes, four new pair of pants and one Jimi Hendrix Shirt later, I'm almost not sure I need pack old clothes. :D Which is fine by me, I'm sick of socks with holes in them, grey wifebeaters and shoes that talk when I walk. Copy everything from the computer, batten down the hatches, and wait. Four days of work, maybe five. One cookout, one last diner with Megan, one wedding and 171 hours from now I set out for San Francisco, by way of Indianapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, Salt Lake City, RENO!!!, and Sacramento, to name a few. No job as of yet, although a few places to stay have cropped up. Still can't believe I'm doing it again. But I'm so happy I am.

Watch here folks, stage left, time counts down quickly on a new adventure, who knows where it may lead?

Hahahaha, damn. I'm sleepy.

G'night, kids!
