Turning Japanese

I've loved japanese animation ever since I was a child. One of my first experiences, as far as I remember were the Candy Candy anime which I watched in Spanish like a mini-soap opera for all and over there boys and girls would all watch it and talk about it and know the songs.

I have rediscovered my anime and love them, they can be cute and innocent, wacky and silly, or extremely perverted and violent. Well I love my variety so from the latest Yucie, Petite Princess to Wicked City I am totally falling in love with my anime all over again.
Just recently I watched Vampire Hunter D again.

My two loves right now Inuyasha and Ramna 1/2.
Well, what has Ranma 1/2 awaked in this dormant spirit, an interested in Japanese food. Yep, all this talk about Ominomiyaki, pork buns and watching them prepare their lunches made me curious, and I ended up asking myself, what is all this damn stuff.

All this damn rice, made me want to eat rice without anything else. Now that was strange for me. I love my rice with steak or some kind of meat hahaha;)

Well, I remember my friend Greenhell took me to Chinatown a few times to have fried spicey noodles...damn where they spicey and deeeeeeeelicious. And I know we went to some stores where he bought japanese food or Asian food but I don't remember where the hell we went.

I find that I love their version of gummy candy. They are soft, sweet and not too sticky or chewy. I find them just right. I hate gummys otherwise with the expection of a few.

In my quest I came across this fun page that has reviews of different Japanese foods:

Needless to say I'm totally curious about the Blueberry Cheesecake Pucky, the Pizza Prez and Yum Yum which sounds yuuuuuuuuuuummy!;)
I was laughing when I found out Pucca is a cookie or something unlike the cute anime from JetLix Pucca which I love to watch too.

So now I'm completely curious. I think the one things I'm reluctant to try is the sushi but let's see eventually.
As one grows older you taste for food does change. Sometimes I don't want to eat anything at all and sometimes I'm totally curious for foods.

i've been frequenting stores looking for Inu and Ranma. I finally got Will to watch Legend of the Overfiend, he looked at me like I was sick hahaha but he enjoyed it.

Anyway if you know anything that I should check out or places please feel free to tell me;)
