To step aside from cosplay, I feel like I must comment on the next Kuroshitsuji anime season as I'm sure many of you have already heard about if you're a Kuroshitsuji fan.
1st: WTF
2nd: 8|
And 3rd: *chucks vending machine*
That about sums up my reaction. What I ponder however, is what prompted the staff to make this decision. People dont like big change, and when it comes to a change like this... how could they not know that there would be a ton of disgruntled fans. Of course it'd be foolish to say what I think and then NOT watch the next season, of course I'm going to watch it... though I doubt its quality compared to the manga storyline, I'm always willing to give things a shot (DTB2 8|). I for one would be completely surprised if they completely got rid of Sebastian and Ciel... or at least Sebastian since hes a demon and his presence can be questionable.
What I'm also curious about is whether or not characters from later on in the manga (IE: Noah's Arc Circus) may show up in this season despite the anime not following anything canon. I for one would find that great... if done tastefully of course (I just loved the Circus Arc so much it pains me that it wont make it into the anime D8)
I understand partially why they decided to go with this drastic change since the end of the anime more or less cut the anime off from the manga. But to be honest if that was their only reason... thats crap. Theres always a way around it, or at least this particular ending since it didn't exclusively show anything.
I still look forward(?? not the right choice of words considering I'm very >:| about it all) to the next season... but it's definitely not going to be something I'll actively anticipate. Sengoku BASARA season 2 all the way babyy!! 8D
