SYD BARRETT .. the man who wrote the Pink Floyd song which approximately two years ago I chose as the name of this lame as livejournal died last week. The sociopathic founding member of Pink Floyd was removed from the band due to his mental disorders and split personalities. A contributing fact to both instances are his constant use of the popular drug at the time lysergic acid diethylamide, which served as much an influence for the songs as his own madness. His legend will live on as long as rock and roll is not forgotten.
