poll - Dear Journal

Jun 02, 2007 10:44

For some time, my posting here has caused me strife, external and internal. It's got to the point that I have 15 different custom groups to accomodate the countless leagues in difference between my many friends here. This is tiring, needless and frustrating, making it often times difficult to keep this journal my own. There is a certain amount of façade needed to keep everyone happy and ticking along. It's bogging me down. Below is a poll pertaining to a possible solution. Please fill it in. No-one else can see your answers but me. I have also made the comments in this post screened, in case anyone needed some clarification or to ask a question. Thank you in advance.

Poll How now, friesian cow?

Update: 3rd June '07

15 of the 18 that wanted to join me, so far, have been added. I'd have to think about the other 3. They're either completely new to me or on friendlier terms with my husband which may mean I could not speak freely about my home life, in the journal.

Update: 4th June '07

3 more folks added to the new journal.

I was thinking, I shouldn't bother to post again here to let people know thaey'd been added, or just in case some of you had missed this post entirely. But frankly, if you hadn't noticed you'd been added by someone new or you haven't given this post the time of day, that's pretty much my answer, right there. >:)

I'll check back periodically to see if there are any straglers who were out of town etc. but it would be more advantageous from this point on, if anyone not already requesting to be added, post a comment to alert me, seeing as the poll doesn't send notifications of new tickees. Thanks. x

6 more into the new journal, plummet.

Update: 11th June '07

Another 3 old friends on the new journal.

Update: 26th june '07

Well there's a rather healthy 40+ folks added over on the new LJ. Most of those added have realised and added me in return. One or two folks still not knowing as they don't seem to check their journal or their friend of list too often. But as it seemed that maybe 40 or so of you were constants in this journal, it's fitting that those few have come with me.

Also Congratulations to both lucy_pointycat and rhandolph on their recent marriage. All the luck and love in the world to you both. xxx
