why do i do this to myself?
why did i go to nyc last week. i should have been packing and doing all of the stuff that im trying to do now. i even have all these days off and then i decide to have a going away party on one of them. it was however totally awesome, but man, im so hungover now. i should never drink jager again.
new york was so fun though. i kinda can't believe that my ex boyfriend from my freshman year of college is now an investment banker. he's living in a hotel in midtown. so weird. he was really smart. thats why i dated him in the first place. but now he's money. it was good to hanout with him for a few days and we had a good time. i do love ny though. i am going to miss being able to go at the drop of a hat. there are so many awesome people there. such an inspiring place.
so right now i'm pretty much selling pieces of my life through myspace and craigslist. so far i've sold a small table, a dvd/vcr combo, a guitar, and i've got offers for a rug and some that is coming to pick up a dresser tomorrow. i guess things are going well, but it really only gives mes like one day to pack and clean and do everything. i need to get started now. its going to be so crazy driving across the country with dom. we're going to stop in columbus, for sure. my friend from back when i used to work at coffee planation on mill ave moved out there a lil while back and we will be staying with him. he's a cool dude, im excited to see him.
now that dom is back from europe though he's super stressed because he hasn't had much time to get his things together. he has more time that i do, but im the one that decided to fuck around and go party. oh well... we start driving the 3rd. im going to work on getting in all my goodbye's during the 1st and the 2nd providing lisa doesn't need me to work.
dom brought me back this beautiful coral ring he found at a vintage shop in brussels. i am in love with it. he is seriously the best boyfriend ever and i love him so much. im so cheesy. haha. i can't wait to do this roadtrip. i know its going to be so much fun once we actually get out and on the road. thats the only thing im thinking about to get me through this little time crunch im having right now.
