It's weird how you can spend so long with so much of your life wrapped up with someone, and then spend so long not even talking to that person before it hits you-- that's it. Like, the book is closed and there's no epilogue or anything, that's just it. Finito.

I sliced my finger in printmaking the other day, for the second time. The first time half my finger bruised up and it hurt like a motherfucker anytime I bumped it, but this time it just bled a lot-- didn't really hurt. I'll bet you anything it doesn't scar though. Humph.
Also, these shoes (Nine West Case size 7.5 in case you want to buy them for me...) are so frickin hot, if someone would give me $83 I'll give you a lifetime supply of banana bread or something. Observe (click me!)
Okay I haven't started my readings yet which means I'm almost 8 hours behind my schedule (except I did eat dinner and go to the TA session and go running, so really I'm only 5 hours behind my schedule) and I want to go to bed in 2 hours tops so I guess maybe I'd better get started? On the other hand, Ella has been passed out on the couch with a book on her tummy for the past hour or more which isn't very inspirational....
