That's a subtle one.

Did you photoshop it?

No, it's genuine.... From a wolf conservation website.

... I thought it was cute. I don't know what you mean about subtle.

Is it? You check wolf conservation websites often?

It's cool. Thought you went through the trouble of, you know. Greyish-brownish wolf and a black one...

It's cool.

I have a personal interest in them, I suppose. One day they might manage to reintroduce wolves to Scotland, it's not that far from here.

I did pick that pair for a reason. I'd liked them.

What if they do? You'd go running with wild wolves?

I could always turn in the wrong moon, you know? And smack your face with my paw too if you enjoy it so much.

I don't think they would go anywhere near us. But if wolf sightings become more common, at least the police are less likely to get called out.

.... As a special treat, that would be nice....

Hunting might become more common too. And that's gonna be dangerous as fuck for the pack. Specially the little ones.

I don't mind changing for you.

Do you like it that much?

Maybe. Eventually. But they'll have to establish the wolf packs first, and it'll take a while. No point in reintroducing a species only to instantly wipe it out again.

I know, but I know it's not good for you.

Of course I do. I like being with my own kind.

I think I read somewhere that they're already shooting wolves again in the USA. But yeah, suppose it will still take a while. Still better if they reintroduce them, anyway.

One more time won't hurt anyone. And you can make me dinner once I'm done.

But you really like it when you're still human, right?

Yeah well, they're idiots, it's a good thing you're not there now.

Steak? I'll get some good meat.

It's different. I've never had a mate within my pack, so it's... special.

Yeah. That's why mom was really careful when we moved around. We always kept close to the woods, the countryside was a gamble.

Sounds perfect whether I turn or not.

What do you like better? When we go run together or when we're at home? I know you like stroking me.

Don't they hunt deer in the woods though? What if someone saw you?

I have to agree with you, really.

It depends on my mood, but we can run together at full moon. I don't get to enjoy you in full fur that often.

It's not like I have many options. It's either the city, the countryside or the woods. And the countryside is way more dangerous. At least deep in the woods at night there's less chances rednecks willl be out hunting.

Of course you do, I'm always right.

Remember the first time we shared a bed with you being a wolf? You fucking alpha, biting the back of my neck. I was sure I was going to lose a piece of skin again.

I guess we're lucky to have the land we do. It's not entirely secure, but people tend to stay away because of the barn and the cottage.

I'm sorry... It's hard to control myself when I'm a wolf. Everything becomes... more simple. What's it like for you?

Have you ever called the cops on someone to kick them out of your land?

Don't be sorry, it was weird but kinda hot. And it was nice to feel you so close as a wolf too, brought back memories... Until, you know what happened.

I keep my human mind, but instincts kick in too. I think it's different from you though. You don't always seem to understand when you turn and I talk shit to you.

... Have you talked to yout pack about me?

luciendasky February 15 2016, 22:17:41 UTC
No, I can't really. It's a public right of way, so they'd have to be doing something illegal or actually trespassing on the cottage or barn.

It's weird when you talk to me when I'm a wolf. I here every word you say, and part of my understands, but most of the words don't seem important enough to pay attention to. Speech is such a basic way to communicate when there's body language and scent.

... What about you?
