I do not qualify for food stamps unless I work at least 80 hrs per month. Joy. I'm lucky to get 30 a month. The "3 months in 36 months" worth of food stamps I might have been able to get was already used up two years ago. If I don't starve beforehand, I can reapply in a year for food stamps. Of course, by then (if I don't starve) I probably won't need them. Not if I can get permanent work.
This sucks. (geek alert) Times like these, I'm glad I'm not a super powerful telepath like Charles Xavier (X-men founder, for non-geeks). I don't know if I could resist the temptation to psychically force someone to give me a good job.

Oh yea, and if I somehow made just over 600 dollars a month, I could get food stamps. But then I wouldn't need them. Lovely.
