BSG 2.11 - I loved it!

Jan 09, 2006 20:39

I have now read my way through a large number of reviews/comments on the latest BSG episode, mostly those linked from galacticanews, but the first one I read, by koalathebear, still is the one I not only agree with most but recommend reading to everyone who watches the show. Especially her thoughts on the matter of Roslin deciding that Cain needs to be killed make hers ( Read more... )

why nobody - as in no (re)viewer of the show - questions Fiske's statements.

I've noticed few are questioning Gina's statements either. An Abused/ Tortured Cylon = Honest, Trustworthy Cylon? So... is that saying: Torture works? Here's the solution to the Cylon Plan?

Or have most folks 'reassigned' human reactions to a cylon Because of the abuse/ torture?

::sick twisted mind have I:: I should probably blame it on darth koala but, she's just too cute

lucie_p thank goodness there's someone else who finds Six prancing around in scanty clothing/near no clothing boring.

I have someone on my friends' list who absolutely idolises/worships Six - layout, ALL user icons are Six, all icons she MAKES are Six and yet lately she's been criticising Sharon to me. Sharon is very flawed but is the most 'human' of the Cylons (presuming that she stays 'good'). It's a fictional show but I just don't think I could ever bring myself to worship a beautiful psychopath :P

As to kiaforrest's comment ..... rumours of my evil are largely exaggerated....... Muahahahaha ;)

Really? I have come to shrug at the silliness of men, who apparently need some Barbie-lookalike to watch any tv show (be she called Six or Seven or whatever), but someone actually being a fan of the character goes beyond my comprehension here.

And I am so very afraid of teh ebil koala *shakes with fear*

You're right - nothing sick&twisted about that. It is just that I prefer to read as little as possible about Six (much as I prefer to see as little as possible of her), so that I did never notice this fact. ;)

And they tried to make torture work once before, on Leoben; we should keep that in mind as well.

that thing with Leoben really clatters - he was 'worried' supposedly about being Too Far Out but NOW we have a Resurection ship close enough, so soon? Maybe there is male/ female ships ::giggle:: but... maybe it's more of the head game. Maybe it's true or half true....

I like Six's character. The core of the character, who she really is, etc, interests me. She's steered Baltar 'right' to save his skin (and her) over and over BUT always with the Cylon Plan as the Center. Gina may be different, like Caprica Sharon. Or it's like Six warned Gaius when Galactica Sharon was going to kill herself, "The programming WILL take precedence"

I like the idea behind Six' character, but I really have a hard time watching her scenes, am always tempted to fast-forward.

Resurrection ships separated by gender would be a hoot. And they really should check the ship they found, or at least the data / pictures; if there are less than the 12 models Adama knows exist, or at least not all the models they already know about, I for one would be on the lookout for the other resurrection ship(s).
